NRC-Colorado's Good Neighboring program spearheads several thousand block parties and other block-to-block activities that serve to bring about direct improvements in the health and quality of life of residents. We offer a myriad of tools to residents and associations often free of charge to increase their skills to develop or relearn essential community-building strategies that re-establish traditions in their neighborhoods. The specific goals of this initiative are to create lasting relationships among neighbors.

There are many ways or steps to promote Good Neighboring:
  • Make a contact list of your 10 nearest neighbors or those on your block and give a copy to each of them. Click here to download NRC-Colorado's Block Map, which uses a traditional city block layout. Page two of this map suggests other information to exchange with your neighbor. Try also creating a neighborhood email list serv to stay connected online. people with plants
  • Organize a project with your neighbors such as a clean up, yard sale, tree and flower planting, or create a directory of neighbors.
